A stunning fixed handle galvanised painted oval bucket, stamped with the date of manufacture 1944, making this piece 82 years old but is in super condition. Also stamped W D with an upward arrow meaning this was a British War Department issue which also fits with the year stamp (WW2). An extremely decorative and useful item for the home whether used as a planter, kindling bucket, dried flowers etc. The beautiful artwork applied at some point in its history features pears and leaves to both front and back and has been extremely well done.
