A vintage very decorative armillary sphere used to represent the heavens. It features articulated metal rings designed to rotate around a central brass/copper sphere representing the earth or sun. In very good condition for age and external use with a nice patina all surface rust having been removed and oil treated so now a decorative internal piece also if desired. Of good size standing 66cm tall on its 3 angled iron legs, 30cm wide. Circa 1970.
