A vintage large aluminium cast mould for the fairground clown ball game, often known as "Laughing Clowns" or "Down the Clown". A classic skill-based carnival game where players throw balls into a clown's mouth or at physical clown targets to score points and win prizes. A rare piece of fairground history. Extremely decorative, the 4 pieces have been siliconed together so that the clown can sit and be displayed as it would be at a fair but can be easily split with no damage should someone want to use the individual pieces to make a mould for other pieces in metal or plaster.
