Decorative 19th Century Cigar Cellar
Price

£229.00

Beautiful 19th century Napolean 111 cigar cellar, circa 1870. Ebonised wood cylindrical construction with inset mother of peral and painted decoration. The 4 sides of the columns with inset albumen print photography of Japanese women in kimonos. Drawer to the base which would have housed a cigar cutter and matches. The turned finial top rotates to open the 4 side to reveal 3 metal rings to each black lacquered compartment, which held the cigars, take a look at the video. Of course it could now house pens or similar and is a lovely interesting and novelty decorative piece. A rare item and in very good condition for age.
