An antique late 19th Century mahogany inkwell set with reverse painted glass depicting the 3 different inks that would have been held in the ceramic wells to the front, which have lovely sliding wooden covers. Hinged compartment to the back would have originally held the dip pens and nibs. An extremely decorative piece that would be a great characterful gift for the right person.
