A wonderful French vinaigrier pot from South France, traditionally used for storing and drawing vinegar from a small tap near the base. Late 19th or early 20th Century, this is in beautiful condition for age and has likely been used very little in its life. A terracotta twin handled body with a ribbed green glazed interior and stunning glazed decoration to the top (front & back) to allow the wiping away of any spills. Extremely decorative, characterful pot for a shelf, sideboard or kitchen counter.
