An early hand carved wooden (teak) architectural corbel or support fragment originating from Southeast Asia. Features traditional scrollwork, carved motifs and figural or mythical elements such as a dragon or celestial being. This would likely have been a structural support in a temple or important building, now mounted by a metal rod on a wooden base and is a beautiful original decorative artifact which could also be turned into a lamp.
