A large early 19th century architectural metal birdcage of Anglo Indian form with lockable gate to front. Swinging perch and double feeder housed within. An exceptionally decorative, heavy and highly detailed piece in its own right but could also house a plant or be illuminated from inside with a light. 49cm square by 45cm height. A very special and highly skilled piece that must have taken the artisan quite some time to complete, a favourite recent find.
