A large 19th Century French religious sculpture depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus in plaster, chalkware. Super age related patina and retaining much of the polychrome paint with only minor losses, to be expected. A very characterful piece which would have originally been a decorative art in a church or chapel setting. Approximately 60cm tall.
