This is a delightful original French bar sign circa 1920 with super patina. Sign is metal wrapped around a wooden frame and border, the signwriting having been applied to the zinc metal backing. Buvette is a small bar or refreshment stand but assume this related to  shop and bar based on 'Vins en Gros' denoting wholesale wines. Black signwriting shadowed in gold, red in black. Cleaned and waxed and now looking for a new home being a good and practical size for most settings, 139cm by 48cm.
